ShutBoard: The Command Center for Your Dealership Sales Desk

Your Numbers. Your Board. Your Check.

Board 16 deals in under 10 minutes. Commission to the dollar in real time. The desk's independent ledger, working alongside your DMS.

Replaces the composition book, the Excel pay plan, and the "where are we at?" text at 8pm.

Built by people who've run a desk. Not a tech company guessing.

The Log That Doesn't Break

Your composition book can't calculate a commission. Your Excel file has a broken formula right now. You just don't know which cell.

Stock number in, vehicle data out. VIN decode auto-fills year, make, model, trim. Quick-board mode: 4 fields. Full entry for the details. 16 deals boarded in under 10 minutes by the last manager out the door.

Everyone Knows Their Number

"Where am I at?" The text your salespeople send you at 8pm every night. Because they have no way to know their own pay without asking.

Real-time commission calc. Draw, percentage, flat, tiered, volume kickers, spiffs, splits. The number moves the second a deal lands. Salespeople check their own pay instead of texting you.

The Scoreboard Is Live

Your morning meeting numbers took 20 minutes to pull. By the time you presented them, two more deals had landed and the count was already wrong.

Dashboard updates the second a deal hits the board. Standings, pacing, gross averages, bonus tier proximity. Put it on the showroom TV. No refresh button. No morning meeting scramble.

Three Tools. One Board. One Truth.

The sales log, commission calculator, and dashboard all feed from the same deals. Change a number once, it updates everywhere. No reconciliation. No broken formulas. One source.

Two Entries. One Truth.

The desk boards the deal. Finance boards the products. But nobody knows if the numbers match until payroll hits and someone's check is wrong.

Sales manager enters the front. F&I manager enters the back. Both feed the same deal record. Total gross compiles automatically. Mismatches get flagged before they become payroll disputes.

The Data Tells You What Coaching Can't

You know who your top closer is. But do you know why? Do you know which lead source they dominate and which one they waste?

Historical data builds over time. Who closes internet ups? Who moves aged iron? Who sets up finance? ShutBoard surfaces the patterns. You make the calls.

AI
Trend Engine
90-day analysis

This is not a DMS replacement.

ShutBoard is the desk's independent ledger. Your DMS is accounting's version of the numbers. Two sets of eyes on the same deals. When they match, everything's clean. When they don't, you found the problem before it hit payroll.

Your data is yours.

Every dealer's data is isolated at the database level. No cross-dealership access. Encrypted at rest. Full audit trail on every change. Your numbers never leave your store.

Your team will actually use it.

4 fields to board a deal. Commission updates the second the deal lands. Salespeople check their own pay instead of texting you at 8pm. The tool earns its place the first night a manager closes out in under 10 minutes.

Common Questions

How fast can I board a deal?+

Quick-board mode uses 4 fields: stock number, salesperson, front gross, back gross. A manager can board 16 deals in under 10 minutes at close. Full details can be added the next morning.

What pay plan structures does it support?+

Draw, flat per unit, percentage of gross, tiered volume, volume kickers, spiffs, split deals, pack deductions, and more. Templates cover about 80% of dealer pay structures out of the box. Full custom builder coming soon.

Does this replace my DMS?+

No. ShutBoard is the desk's independent ledger. Your DMS is accounting's version. Two sets of eyes on the same numbers. When they match, everything's clean. When they don't, you found the problem before it hit payroll.

Can I put the scoreboard on a TV in the showroom?+

Yes. The TV Board view is designed for a wall-mounted display. Salesperson standings, new and used unit counts by model, store totals, and pacing. Auto-rotates through panels. Full-screen, big numbers, no interaction needed.

How do I set up pay plans?+

Upload your pay plan document. PDF, photo of a printed page, whatever you have. The AI reads it and extracts every component: draw, percentage, tiers, pack, kickers, spiffs, splits. Your salesperson reviews it, confirms or corrects, and their calculator is live. No manual data entry. If you'd rather build it yourself, the component builder lets you toggle and configure each piece.

Can salespeople see each other's gross?+

Not by default. Every role sees exactly the data they should see. Salespeople see their own commission and their own deal financials. They cannot see another salesperson's gross, commission, or pay plan. Your GM controls all visibility settings and can open or lock down access per person.

What if we already have a sales log process?+

ShutBoard is faster than whatever you're using now. If your current process involves a composition book, an Excel file, or a shared Google Sheet, you're spending more time logging than you need to. ShutBoard doesn't ask you to change your process. It just makes the logging part disappear.

The Composition Book Had Its Run.

Your sales department deserves a command center, not a spiral notebook. Get your board online, your commissions calculated, and your team on the same page.
